If you are looking at purchasing a new horse we strongly recommend you have a pre-purchase examination performed. A pre-purchase examination is not a warranty on the horse, but it can detect many issues that may potentially cause problems for your intended use.

In a full pre-purchase examination we examine the horse at rest, at the walk, trot and lunged in a canter and trot. We may also examine the horse while being worked. The examination checks everything from head to tail and includes a full lameness examination.

Further imaging such as x-rays, ultrasound, scoping or ECG can also be performed as part of the examination at an additional cost.

We can also examine horses at sales, including viewing radiographs on the repository.
